This ’75 Carrera, the 3rd of 385 US market 1975 examples, has less than 43 thousand miles and has been comprehensively restored, both mechanically and cosmetically. The original, matching-numbers 2.7L engine was rebuilt and upgraded with SSI heat exchangers, a Dansk sport muffler, 930 valve covers, oil-fed chain tensioners, and a pop-off valve. The 915, 5-speed gearbox was rebuilt during restoration as well. The body was completely disassembled and professionally repainted in 2007 and presents beautifully. The factory sport seats were reupholstered with correct German leather and a new dash was installed as well. This Carrera features 15×7 and 15×8 anodized Fuchs wheels and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, all books, manuals and tools as well as partial previous service invoices.
