These are built on quality 340 castings that have been cleaned, inspected, pressure tested. All blocks are checked for any damage, and then bored with appropriate torque plate, Crank saddle checked and line bored if necessary. Then after thorough washing block is painted customer requested color, new cam bearings installed, new freeze plugs and screw in pipe plugs installed *Block is assembled with all new Clevite or King bearings and crank goes in for initial fitting *After trial fit passes , crank is installed with new Fel pro rear main seal & ARP main bolts *All new Scat rods and KB/Icon pistons with valve reliefs for hi lift cam and advertised 10-1 comp w/ full floating pins & spirolox *Each rod and piston is trial fitted to ensure perfect fit *New Hastings Moly ring set- top ring fitted appropriately for HP piston with extended gap for piston expansion *all new Clevite or King bearings for connecting rods with ARP with cap screws *new stroker windage tray and hardware- not shown *all new HV72 Melling pump and new pick up appropriately picked for matching pan *all new oil pan and Fel Pro gasket /seal set, high capacity oil pan *Comp XE-20-227-4 275/287 dur. and .525 lift – choppy idle but enough vacuum for power brakes(other cams including hydraulic roller available) *Cloyes tru roller timing set and new cam bolt and washer *chrome fuel pump block off, unless mechanical fuel pump *reconditioned timing cover *new HP SFI balancer for internal balance (this kit now makes the engine internal balance for 72 and 73 blocks) *new Edelbrock 60179 heads 65cc 2.02 int/1.60 exh- all corrections done to valve guides and seats. Speedmaster heads will be substituted if Edelbrock are not available. Trick flow are installed on the engine shown and are available at extra cost *ARP head stud kit unless using trick flow heads then will be their bolt kit *new rocker arms set for hydraulic cam- adjustable 1.5 comp cams or similar *Fel Pro Head gaskets *Comp Chromoly push rods *Edelbrock six pack intake *new Holley or professionally reconditioned six pack carburetors and Promax fuel line- depending on availability *all new grade 8 hardware *new billet distributor *chrome distributor hold down *new water pump hd 5/8″ shaft *8mm spiral core wires in blue/black/red *NGK FR4 plugs *engine tested on our PRW top of the line run module, double checked for integrity *options include to add: *Comp or Hughes roller cam- including set up- 995 *header kits from 240-up *Icon forged pistons *different intakes/carbs and more….these are just some examples – contact for options 12mo 12k warranty on parts and materials under normal circumstances This is a stock photo and engine will be built to your specs All engines are pre run on our Top of the line PRW engine module Turnaround time is about 4 months, depending on how busy we are, and we don’t have a core charge.
