MONSOON RED MIDAXI DRESS KNITTED RIBBED PLEATED LINED SLEEVELESS V NECK. SIZE 14. This is a really beautiful dress. It is a stunning red, like a pillar box red, and the fine knit and subsequent stretch of the fabric makes it a real signature piece. The body of the dress is a V neck sleeveless top, which graduates into a ribbed pleated-effect for the length of the skirt. I always feel this sort of ribbed faux-pleating is far more flattering than true pleats. The added lining to the skirt gives it a weight which makes it hang and move perfectly when worn. It is difficult to judge how images come out on another viewer’s phone/tablet/computer but this dress is a rich red colour. When looking at the photos I’ve taken, even for me they do look a little ‘light’ and not wholly representative of the beautiful colour of this piece. Imagine a pillar box and you’ll not be far off! Finally, and very importantly, this dress does NOT have an ombré effect to it. It looks as though there was a shadow when I was taking the images, making the bottom of the skirt appear darker than the top section of the dress. This is not the case. The red of the dress is uniform throughout. This dress has been worn just twice. Any questions, please ask. This item comes from a smoke-free home.
