You can extend the shelf life by refrigerating the candy in a Zip Lock bag.How do we make your maple candy? It usually starts with my husband, Kevin, coming home from work and yelling, “who wants to make maple candy?” (this is a joke in our house!) Nobody usually answers him! He heads downstairs to our commercial kitchen and starts to heat the syrup to temperature. He cools it and then the fun begins. I help with the candy machine, and when it comes to packaging, we get the help from our 10 year old son and 13 year old daughter.
