Fits: 1950-1953 MG TD 1954-1955 MG TF Wilwood brake kits consist of specifically engineered & matched groups of components designed to provide superior brake system performance & custom appeal over a wide range of applications. Wilwood’s Pro Series front disc brake kits for 50-55 MG’s offer disc brake upgrade solutions for OEM Drum spindles. Featuring a large 10.75″ x 0.81″ rotor and forged aluminum hub assembly, these kits are built around the FDL-M caliper, which is a modified version of the time-tested Forged Dynalite caliper, and provides the greatest amount of wheel clearance of any four piston caliper in its size. These kits require no modifications for installation, and provide plenty of clearance inside all popular 15″ wheels, as well as many 14″ wheels (see Diagram above). FDL-M Pro-Series kits can be used with either manual or power boost master cylinders. These versatile kits are easily optioned to suit the braking requirements and style preferences for a daily driver or the most discriminating show enthusiast.
