eBay For sale is a Ricohflex Model VII camera. I believe it was purchased by my uncle who was stationed in Japan while he was in the Marines in the 1950s. FROM WIKI: Ricohflex VII (1954 February). The model VII was released to the market in February, 1954. It had a Ricoh Anastigmat 1:3.5/8cm front-element focusing lens geared to the Ricoh Viewer 1:3,5/8cm lens for viewfinder focusing. Most of it had a Riken shutter with B mode and speeds from 1/25-1/100 sec. The shutter used the same lever to cock the shutter (pull up) and fire the shutter (push down). The Seikosha Rapid version comes with B mode and speeds from 1-1/500 sec .The camera has the capability of using 120 film or 135 film with the optional COLOR BACK insert. Ricohflex VII M (SEIKOSHA MX shutter) (1954 October); Ricohflex VII S (with self-timer) (1955 January). CONDITION: VG+. Very tiny scuffs from normal use (Please check photos). Optics: View Finder – Clear. There are no scratches. No problem in the view. Lens: Beautiful condition.There is no fog. There is no fungus. There is no balsam separation. Function: As far as I can tell, the camera’s levers/knobs work properly. HOWEVER, the lenses do not turn. I have been told (and read on-line) that reason for this is the lubrication has dried out. Since I have no way to determine if this is correct, I must sell the camera AS-IS. Everything you see in the pictures will be included.
