Depicting a fat man and woman dressed in traditional chinese robes these painted figures are articulated in both the body and the head. They move in all directions when touched or pushed. Quirky in both subject matter and material these curiosity fun figures are the pre cursor to the bobble head toys of today. These may date from the 1920s to the 1930s but it is impossible to specify other than they are vintage. They may be German in origin as this type of figure was popular there from the late 18th C onwards. A fabulous addition to your retro home decor, quirky figure collection, or a great housewarming gift idea. MEASUREMENTS Each figure measures 4″ wide by 4″ by 7.5″ tall and together weigh 10.2oz.
