Damask pattern is a neo-classical design of scrolling acanthus leaves and shells. Large corner pattern has stylized acanthus fan, border pattern features a repeating urn of beautiful flower blossoms. Center pattern of cloth has it’s own unique pattern complementing the outer pattern, both having lots of detail. Inner pattern has an oval shape. Gorgeous set, high quality Irish Flax set with soft satin, silky, hand, and great weight. Flax linen has an incredibly smooth texture or finish compared to regular linen (which is itself gorgeous). Flax takes it a step above. This is a perfect cloth for both rectangular or oval tables, very high quality. Both tablecloth and napkins retain original paper label which says ” Guaranteed Fast Colours, Washed Ready For Use, Made in Ireland, Warranteed All Pure Flax”. Beautiful pre-owned UNUSED unhemmed condition, napkins are uncut and unhemmed. There is a small white paper label remnant, shown in detail pic, on the tablecloth which will wash out in 1st soak/wash. In good storage for many decades. I leave laundering to new owner after hemming is complete. Fabric is healthy, lush feeling. An heirloom quality set of table linens. Tablecloth measures approx. 92″ x 71-1/2″, napkins 22″ wide x almost 23″ to cut line between naps. Inner oval of cloth design approx. 32″ x 14″ having up to a 10″ deep pattern beyond.
