This sword and leather sheath that protects it are part of my husband life long collection of knifes. It was never used. He has two of them that he hung on the wall as a display. He gave me the two leather sheaths earlier without the swords. He found the swords recently so I’m trying to sell the swords with their intended protection sheaths. I don’t know much about this type of item. I welcome information from those who do. But based on what the sheaths were intended for I’m assuming this is a Jambiya dagger, or sword. The swords are made by Coyote Cutlery. And it says Pakistan on the blade. I’m believing the blade is stainless steel based on others I see out there. The swords and the sheaths are in very good condition. The sheaths snaps are showing rust from their age. They snap but not securely and I couldn’t actually get them to snap once the swords were inside them. Possibly some oiling might assist this, but I wanted to be honest about them. The blade of the sword is about 18.5″. The sword from handle to end is approximately 26″. The leather sheath is approximately 26″ from top to bottom and approximately 2″ from side to side. It will hold a blade approximately 20″ long. There are a couple marks on the leather that have come from it being stored with other things that have scuffed up against it. These would not however take away from the functionality of it. It’s a thick leather, quality sheath. The swords themselves though physically unused show some minor signs of age. (Please review the pictures.) I estimate these items to be from the 1990’s. I have two swords and two leather sheaths. I’ve listed them separately. When you buy one I will select one of each. I supplied pictures of both. I supplied as many pictures as I could. Please review these pictures carefully as I consider them part of the overall description of this listing. I would be willing to offer a deal for someone who wanted both swords and sheaths. Message me if interested. Please Note: These swords are intended for collecting and not to harm anyone or anything.
