Vintage Hammersley Cup & Saucer Set Dimensions are approximately: saucer diameter: 14cms (5 3/4″ ins) cup diameter: (excluding handle): 10cms (4″ ins) cup height excluding handle: 6cms (2 3/8″ ins) This elegant vintage set was produced by long established English china company Hammersley & Co circa 1920+ The cup and saucer are decorated with a charming floral spray & Art Nouveau pattern in a mix of colours. Scalloped edges and gold trims add a touch of elegance… Items are just as collectable today as in the past… Condition:In generally very good vintage condition commensurate for age and use. No fractures, crazing, chips or discolouration.. there is a small imperfection to the top of the cup handle where it attaches to the body of the cup, seen as a small line looks like a fracture but not. The handle is very firmly attached. The finish to the lower section of the glazed handle is a small rough area. Some teeny spots in the bottom of the cup but nothing to spoil the set. See enlarged photos. Colour, and pattern very good to both cup and saucer. Gold trims all good show a touch of wear. Saucer has a tiny brown pimple and the faintest small light blue colour slip, nothing to spoil the overall elegance of the set.
