Schumann’s classic Dresden (also Dresdener or Dresdner) Art pattern features an embossed surface, gold detailing and scrolls, and a bounty of floral accents in the center and surrounding; this specific variant is the Smooth version, round in shape with a single flower within each scroll. These are the fruit, dessert, or sauce bowls in a set of four, approximately 5-1/8 inches in diameter and 1-1/8 inches tall; each has a matching Dresden Schumann Bavaria lion backstamp used between 1918 and 1929. As a vintage set, these bowls have pattern and rim wear and light surface scratches; no cracks or chips.
