eBay Up for auction is a Very Rare, Early Reprint of The Scarecrow Of Oz by L. Frank Baum.   Illustrated by John R. Neill.     This is the Highly Desirable “white spine” edition with the original John R. Neill illustrations!!   Published in the 1960’s, this is one volume from a wonderful set that reproduced the first fourteen books in the Oz Series.   Highly Coveted by Oz collectors, titles in this set are becoming Increasingly Hard to Find!!     Hardcover with its original illustrated boards.   Published by The Reilly & Lee Co.: Chicago.   Please note that while “1915” is the only date present, this copy was NOT published/released in 1915.   This copy is a reprint printed in the 1960’s.     While we assume it goes without saying, we do feel compelled to mention that this is obviously NOT the First Edition/First Printing of this title.   This is a reprint of this title.     This rare treasure has some very clearly visible wear/age, but is still in lovely, Highly Collectible!   The wear, however, is considerable and should be carefully examined/considered BEFORE buying.     The book appears gently read and has no internal writing, no remainder marks, no internal foxing, no missing pages and is NOT Ex-Libris.   The binding is holding tight and the pages are still surprisingly crisp and clean!     Some general/shelf/age wear along with a noticeable lean/slant, creases/scuffing/marks/wear to the spine/corners/boards, marks/wear to the edge fore pages and creases/marks/wear to the pages, NOT affecting the text or illustrations.   Please note the wear to the spine/corners/boards, particularly noticeable near/along the edges and on both the front and rear boards, the marks/wear to the edge/fore pages, particularly noticeable on the top edge pages and the creases/marks/wear that is present on the pages, varying in size and severity. There is also a small old bookstore sticker attached to the final, blank page!
