Nice looking but needs modification Rated by Out1rider on February 09, 2021 Summary: Good quality air cleaner but the air inlet around the base is only 1/4″, to restrictive for Speedways 9super7 carbs. I put three of these on 3 9super7s mounted on a Edelbrock 5418 intake manifold on a SB 350. I couldnt get the air fuel mixture on the main carb right. I was having a heck of a time adjusting it. The base of the carburator was icing up. I took the air cleaner off and was easily able to adjust the carb, the ice disappeared. The helmet air cleaner wasnt letting enough air in. I bought three longer carb center screws, nuts and washers. I needed to raise the helmets to expose more filter and increase the air into the carburators. I cut three oieces of plexiglass to cover the air filters and seal them. At first I thought the look was funky, but quickly started digging the look.
