Soviet Russian USSR WWII medal Order of the Patriotic War 2nd Class with serial number in the 700-thousand range awarded in July 1945 to Guards Captain Konstantin Savvich Armashev, an officer of Moldovan nationality the 6th Independent Motorized Pontoon Bridge Regiment. The award was cumulative for his service in WWII; the citation describes his efforts during the forcing of the Dnieper, Bug, Dniester, and other rivers, and his participation in battles in the Donbas and the Caucasus. The order was presented to him while he was serving in the Far East taking part in the invasion of Manchuria. He earned a Combat Merit Medal in 1943, as well as Medal for the Defense of the Caucasus, Victory Over Germany, and Victory over Japan. Condition is excellent, as seen in the images! The serial number of the award is authentic and matches the serial number shown in the archival documents, obviously!
