Disconnect any electrical connectors from the A/C Compressor. 7. Remove the AC Connections. Remove the A/C Compressor mounting bolts. 8. Once the old compressor has been removed, begin by removing the receiver/drier or accumulator, and the expansion valve or orifice tube from the vehicle. ​​​​​​​ 2. Next, flush the condenser and evaporator using a non-oil based A/C flush. The valve must be removed on expansion valve system before the evaporator can be flushed. —Flush evaporators from inlet to outlet. —Flush condensers from outlet to inlet. NOTE: Condensers produced from 1990 – present are extremely difficult to clean. As a result, if the compressor had a major failure, it is recommended that the condenser be replaced. 3. Install the new receiver drier or accumulator, and new expansion valve or orifice tube. 5. Next, install the new or remanufactured A/C Compressor. 6.
