No drilling or changes to vehicle are required. Once installed, this system will lift and hold open your hood without the need of a prop rod. DESIGNED AND MANUFACTURED IN THE U.S. – All components in our QuickLIFT systems, including our documentation will ship from our office in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Full color manuals will arrive that will walk anyone through this simple installation – our customer comes first. QUICK-RELEASE – Both lower strut attachments includes a quick-release mechanism that allows the hood to be released from the gas struts. Your hood will then extend back to the windshield as if the struts were not installed. Simply snap them back on to utilize your Hood QuickLIFT System. SIMPLE OPERATION – Simple one-handed operation, simply start to lift the hood and it will raise to the stock height unassisted in a smooth and controlled motion.
