The original bags are now 80 years old we have been finding that the webbing connecting the Metal O rings can become rotten over a long time. We have carefully matched the exact webbing weave of originals and stripped the bags back, rebuilding them with the original metal “o2″ ring fittings. In 1940 the average height was 5ft 7″ but now people are much bigger so the strap length is 145cms to fit mosyt people.
