original Goebel Hummel figurine # Hum 16. “Little Hiker” by Goebel Double crown mark * “16.” only, no size designator * Baby Face Extremely rare color variation Height about 14.5 cm (about 5 3/4 inches). TMK 1 “Crown Mark”. The figurine was made between 1935 and 1949. It has under the base a stamped, as well as an incised TMK 1 “Crown Mark” , is a so-called “double crown” figurine. Since there are no other stamps, it was most likely made before 1945. This figurine was originally modeled by master sculptor Arthur Moeller in 1935. Large version. Incised “16.” only, without a size designator, making it a very early piece. This is an extremely rare color variation of this figurine with different paint and polka dots on the scarf. Shiny Finish, so-called “Baby Face”. In the last pictures I added a regular production color version of this figurine, so you can compare. You buy only the extremely rare color version figurine, last pictures on the right. The figurine is well kept and in excellent condition with no damage, chips, crazing, repairs or the likes.
