I have personally worn this cool timepiece out in the evening 3-5 times and it is gorgeous and generates conversations for sure. With that in mind, some additional considerations about this watch include: 1. This watch is large at approximately 45mm and works well on medium to large wrists. It brings a modern oversized look and I can recommend this watch for somebody with a wrist size of 6+3/4 inches in circumference and larger. I have an average size wrist and this watch works well on my wrist. This will fit up to an 8+3/4″ wrist with ease and great proportions.2. This is peculiar watch that makes a modern oversized “Tough Guy” kind of statement. This watch is made for casual times and is pretty much perfect with a black leather jacket, a black, grey or white t-shirt and jeans look or for going out to a cool club, bar or restaurant. That is my go-to look which is why this one resonates so strongly for me personally. 3. Highlights on this one include the stark, matte, very sharp, very masculine black ceramic case and timeless, aggressvie black/white and a pop of red colorway. 4. Tremendous value in automatic chronograph watch making here. Do your research on the JLC chronograph movement. The reader of this and likely future buyer probably already knows this but JLC chrono movements are exquisite, impressive technically, nicely finished and often featured in high-end / haute horology timepieces. With this timepiece, a buyer or wearer is getting Daytona quality at 1/3rd the price. And more exclusivity. 5. Flipping this one over and you get a look into the automatic mechanical wizardry of the 41 jewel movement and the finished Cote-de-Geneve rotor. Unexpected and great value that you can appreciate versus keeping the goods under a boring, plain caseback. There is a heft and a seriousness of purpose with this timepiece. Like a black Porsche 911 or a black Gelandewagon if you get my serious teutonic drift. 6. Ralph Laurent is of course legendary and this serious chronograph timepiece is squarely in their “wheelhouse” of what they do exceptionally well. This watch often generates conversations and is immediately recognizeable as a luxury timepiece though in kind of a stealthy, “bad-boy.” A refined rebel watch that can handle any land-based duties with serious style. As it is a chrono and on a great leather strap, one should view this as a dry-land sporting timepiece. It has minimal, if any, water resistance. 7. The strap deserves some additional special mentioning. It is not your run-of-the-mill leather strap as Ralph Lauren does not do stuff half-way. Classic, high-quality black leather with a wonderful kind of integration attachment into the ceramic casing and that features brings a touch of additional throw-back, retro charm. It helps the watch to further stand-out and is a nod to yesteryear where quality construction (like for this timepiece) was greatly appreciated. 8. Boxing and book as showng in the “everything picture” rounds out this listing. We do not offer a warranty but will work with you to make any post-purchase repairs via advice on where to go and what to do (with no profit for us but paid for by you). Everything we sell is working fine for all functions when it leaves our facility (or more specifically the safe deposit box where our watches reside). In some cases, we can go back to our source and get the watch repaired for free based on our relationship and reputation.
