The most Convenient Counter-top Water Distiller! The modern lightweight design is recommended for seniors and others who may have difficulty in lifting. Although it may not boast the sturdiness of our heavy-duty Stainless Steel models, it produces one gallon of great quality distilled water each cycle. EASIER TO USE than a coffee maker! Just fill and start. A very convenient countertop model to operate and maintain. Lightweight tap water supply reservoir lifts out for easy filling without placing the entire unit into the sink as normally done with competitive models. Set it and forget it. Continuously fills boiling tray until one full gallon has been made, then automatically shuts off. Slightly FASTER OPERATION and BETTER HEAT TRANSFER due to the direct-contact heating element and automatic water-feed feature. Other countertop units attach the heating element under the boiling chamber which means that the heat must penetrate a layer of stainless steel before it reaches the water, resulting in slower initial water heating and loss of efficiency. The automatic water-feed feature reduces the heating time required to begin making pure water. REDUCED CLEANING and MAINTENANCE. This unit has a “stick-resistant” boiling tray to help reduce scale buildup. Also since the heating element is suspended in water, much of the water scale drops to the bottom of the tray to be easily rinsed away. This means that you can run approx. six cycles without thoroughly cleaning, instead of cleaning your unit after every cycle as other countertop models recommend. This saves time and is more convenient to use.
