Easy turn initiation, stability and maneuverability variable snow, with powerful edge hold and turn exit on hardpack. Flex Flex Rating 9 (1 Softest – 10 Stiffest) – A stiff flex for charging hard and fast through variable snow conditions Core Aspen – Light in weight, durable in flex life, and poppy in nature Ash – This wood is known for its high strength-to-weight ratio. It provides outstanding stiffness without feeling excessively damp, and provides excellent binding retention under high stress. Laminates Carbon Fiber – Moment uses carbon fiber in all of its skis, either in the form of woven uni-directional stringers or carbon tow threads added to the laminate matrix. Lighter than fiberglass, metal, or basalt, carbon helps tune and strengthen the ski while adding longevity to the flex profile. Fiberglass Matrix – In addition to carbon fiber, Moment uses three types of fiberglass laminates to fine-tune each ski’s flex pattern.
