Unlike other track saw systems, the all-aluminum base and rail construction increases the rigidity of the TrackSawGuide. This reduces the flex and play found in plastic saw guides and provides a more accurate cut. The aluminum base is lined with anti-friction pads that glide along the rails for smooth and easy operation. Additionally, you can dial in your preferred tension using the included Glide Adjusters. The base of the TrackSawGuide is universal, fitting most circular saws in the market with blades up to 7-1/4 in. To align the TrackSawGuide simply line the red strip to your cut mark. The strip acts as a guide and the blade will cut directly up to the edge. It also helps prevent chipping and splintering. Long anti-slip strips on the bottom of the rails keeps the TrackSawGuide in place. For a more secure cut, you can use the included T-Track Clamps to lock the rails to your workpiece. The TrackSawGuide can extend from 27.5 in. to as long as needed with available GuideRail additions.
