This adapter will connect your Makita orbital sander to a standard 1.25″ vacuum hose. I’ve been using it pretty much daily in my shop since 2019, it works great! The adapter is 3D printed using flexible TPU plastic. It fits sander models: BO5041, XOB01Z, B05030, BO5031, BO4566, BO3710 Adding color options isn’t supported by Ebay in this product category – Default color is black, if you would like a different color please let me know in the order notes or send me a message. Available colors are Neon Green, Translucent Blue, Translucent Red, Hot Pink, Yellow or Neon Orange. Other colors may be available depending on what I have on hand feel free to message me if you want something not listed! This is the third iteration of the design, I gave it longer neck sections so it securely slips onto the sander and the 1.25″ hose. It fits snug enough I can lift and drag the sander around by the hose, yet comes off the hose easily when you need to move the hose to another tool. More info in case you’re interested:There are other versions of this adapter on the internet, and I’m sure they work fine, but here’s why I think mine is better:1 – I use this same adapter myself on my Makita B05041 so I know it works well. It’s held up to regular (and some irregular) use for over 2 years. You’ll see it in practically all my sanding pictures on Instagram. 2- It’s made from a flexible polyurethane plastic so it has a little “give” while sanding. Most other versions I see are made from rigid PLA plastic.3 – I can make it in an obnoxious color so you’re less likely to lose it or have someone “borrow” it 🤣4 – If you have your own 3D printer, I’m happy to share the design.
