At their workshop in Kani City, Gifu Prefecture, skilled artisans with years of experience put passion and care into each instrument they build. The SRF-MA1 is a collaboration model between Shimamura Gakki and K.Yairi, and it’s popular for its slightly larger body shape compared to the “SO-MH1” model. It features a solid spruce top, with maple used for both the back and sides. The fingerboard and bridge are made from rare ebony wood. The compact body size delivers an excellent response, producing bright and crisp sounds typical of spruce and maple guitars. The top of the body is finished with a luxurious glossy coating, and the design remains simple and timeless, with no excessive decoration. The transparent pickguard adds to its understated elegance, making it a favorite among players of all ages. This model provides an outstanding, brilliant tone that highlights the qualities of the spruce and maple woods.
