IGMA Artist Jane Graber 1987 Sgraffito Redware 1789 Inscription Plate.This is 1:12 scale, which has been her specialty for approximately 45 years. The plate is wheel thrown and meticulously hand decorated by Jane. Sgraffito ware is particularly special because it involves multiple layers of glaze and then a tedious process of meticulously scraping through the layers to create the detailed design. Jane Graber’s pieces are getting harder to find due to her no long doing Artisan shows and as she moves forward to retirement. As collectors of her work know, Jane is an internationally acclaimed IGMA Artist. It has the Artist’s signature and date on the underside of the plate. It measures approx. 1/8″ depth, 1″ top outside diameter. All of the miniatures that will be listed are from one collection!!
