INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: This listing is for American made (and American sold) vehicles….vehicles not of the American made/sold variety (even if they share the same name) may require a different type lock. Installing this lock requires programming of the electronic transponder keys. The keys are transponder electronic keys and must be programmed at the vehicle to the vehicle’s computer. In most situations you can do this yourself…see programming instructions below. Merchandise Description This ebay auction is for one (1) Strattec brand GM ignition lock cylinder and a single door lock cylinder with 2 GM logo keys. These locks are already assembled…just as pictured and described. Same key fits both locks. Door lock does NOT come with pawl/lever that goes on the back of the lock cylinder…it must be swapped from old to new. We may have the pawl if it is needed…extra charge of 11.00 if shipped with lock set.Installing this ignition lock requires programming of the electronic transponder keys. We can provide a copy of the programming procedure, but the programming is then entirely up to you the customer…we do not provide any troubleshooting technical support. If all aspects of your car’s main systems are in good working order, then programming of the keys is not usually a problem.Hummer H2 2008-2009If you have questions, please ask BEFORE buying….include the exact year, make, and model. Extra Services & Programming For an extra fee of $19.00 per key, we can provide additional/extra keys for this lock cut on original GM logo key blanks. IMPORTANT: If you decide to buy and want any extra services, complete the transaction on the locks, but remember to send an ebay message (not just note attached to payment) reminding us of the extra services needed. Contact must be made immediately after buying or the locks will be shipped as is/as described. Below is the on-board programming procedure. Originate New Key: When zero working keys exist (all keys lost). 1. Insert new working key into ignition cylinder and turn it to the ON (RUN) position. The theft light on the dash will illuminate and stay on for ten minutes. 2. When the theft light goes out, repeat the same procedure as in step #1, two more times. 3. When the theft light goes out, the new key has been programmed. To program a second key (follow-up on above procedure). 1. Within 20 seconds of completing the last step for the first key, insert a second key and turn to the ON position. When the light goes out, the new key is programmed.
