HELIOS 44m-4 Russian Soviet USSR Lens with adapter for Canon EOS EF Serial number: 89064749 – Made in USSR by KMZ in 1989! The Lens is in Perfect Condition. Glass is clean and clear, no scratches, no dust inside, no fungus. The iris blades is free of oil (it is very important for all lenses – the blades must be free of oil). The diaphragm-control ring turns smoothly and accurate. The focusing is smooth and precise. P.S. The iris blades must be absolutely free of oil, not acceptable even a little oil because this -“a little oil”will be on glass inside of a lens on a sunny day. Comes with adapter M42 to Canon EOS EF Mount, front cap and Canon rear lens cap. Will fit to all Canon EOS EF DSLR and film SLR cameras (as long as the body takes Canon EF lenses). There is no ROM connection on the ring of the adapter so diaphragm control of the lens is set manually. Notice: Although the lens will fit physically, automatic diaphragm, auto-focusing, or any other functions will not operate correctly while using this adapter. In this case”stop-down mode”will need to be used when metering since the lens does not have the ability to have its aperture controlled by the camera body.
