The story of the evolution of Hip Hop, from its experimental creating days, to the streets of NYC and the housing projects it was born from, to the evil corporations that sucked the soul out of the culture to the bboys & BGirls warriors who joined forces to thwart the evil infiltrating this growing global culture, all from the lens of an actual bboy graffiti writer who was a part of that evolving culture in the early 80’s, ME! The story ends in a creative explosion with inspiring words of wisdom to engage the viewer a positive outlook on our cultural phenomena called Hip Hop Culture! Did I mention the story progresses in a “RHYME” format!? This is the 25th anniversary limited edition with full color covers of the original 1st ever (on the planet) psychedelic Graffiti coloring comic! The original version was created in 1996! And was a “zine” style printing in full black and white, & was used as a teaching tool in many of my visual art programs to help inspire creativity in our kids here in the NYC area & beyond! That’s right, this is no ordinary coloring book! And no ordinary comic book!!! it’s got a full color front and back cover with EXTRA THICK INSIDE PAGES in Black and White. This special edition’s extra thick pages can take “water-based” markers with out bleeding onto the other side of the page! SEE PHOTOS FOR COLORING EXAMPLES. Known water-based markers to use are pictured, Tombow brush markers & creatology & crayola markers work great! PLEASE NOTE: markers DO NOT come included with the book. ALSO, pages are NOT “bleed proof”, so if yu continuously apply ink to an area, it will eventually bleed through the page, so be forewarned. ALSO, if you use any alcohol-based markers like copic, bootleg copics, EF design markers, AD, prizmacolor or any other “design” markers, it will bleed through. Light watercolors with minimal water will work, crayons & color pencils will also work great. I have 5 copies available exclusively in my eBay store, once they sell out, I’ll list an additional 5, until the total of 20 is sold out. There are 20 copies exclusive to my eBay buyers out of a limited edition of 100 total. ECO FRIENDLY!! This edition was printed by my good friend Greg at Eco Friendly Printer, & are 100% post consumer recycled paper & 100% non-toxic inks. The black outlines do not smear with water-based markers! This special eBay edition is limited to 20 copies, signed and numbered by me, SpazeCraft & I can dedicate the comic to whomever you like free of charge! Shipped with insurance & packed in a comic book plastic & nicely bubble wrapped. These are not available anywhere else outside of me selling them at various cons, Im usually drawing Kaiju monsters for the kids for free there.
