Item Dressel Soo Line Clear Kopp Molded Globe Railroad Lantern Description Hello. I want to say that I always try to describe the items as best as I can. I do not claim to be an expert on the majority of the items I sell. If there is a problem or defect with the item you purchased, please contact me before leaving feedback and DO NOT open a case. I will 100% make it right. I am human and do make mistakes from time to time. 5 Star service is my goal. I will be putting 7 railroad lanterns on eBay as I have time. I purchased this from an fairly older woman who said this was her fathers lantern. She said he found some of them in barns and places like that and restored them with their original parts, and then restored them to look in more original condition. He traveled to find some of the parts. This lantern from the chimney to the lowest wire guard are in good condition. The globe is not cracked or broken. The metal has patina. The knob on the slip burner turns but its a little tight. If you’re asking me if this works, I do not know but I would guess it does. This is embossed Dressel Arlington NJ on the top of the chimney. Soo Line is embossed on the lid. The patent date on the bottom goes back to 1936. The clear globe has a K with a circle around it for Kopp (photo 2) The burner has no markings. There are multiple photos of engravings. Excluding the handle sticking up, this stands roughly 9″ in height from the top of the chimney to the bottom of the guard.
