[About actual car] – The Ferdinand (Elephant) is a German heavy tank destroyer of World War II, with its long barrel 71 caliber 8.8cm gun and heavy armor up to 200mm. – Developed by Dr. Porsche for the Tiger tank, the body that was rejected in a competitive prototype with Henschel has a new fixed battle compartment and is equipped with a PaK43/271 caliber 8.8cm tank gun. – Above all, it was characterized by adopting a drive system with a unique mechanism called an engine power generation motor drive system.
