If the 1 CUP/2 CUP indicators are flashing simultaneously and rapidly after the 1 CUP/2 CUP button is pressed, and you are unable to brew coffee, it indicates that the over-temperature protection is triggered. PLEASE turn the knob on the side of the machine to the WATER position to let the hot water come out for 20 seconds, and then return the knob to the OFF position. When the boiler is cooled down, you can brew the coffee again. PLEASE do not brew coffee immediately after frothing milk. How to Stop Beeping?
