Carefully look at the shapes on each of the border punches and you will find that they contain a host of the tiniest shapes available in a punch anywhere. Miniscule hearts, scrolls, squares, diamonds, petal shapes, leaf shapes etc. For decorating tiny tags or just tiny spaces these mini shapes can be combined to make a huge assortment of decorations not available anywhere else. On each of the border designs I have tried to separate out and show each of the individual components so you can see for your self how versatile these can be. Especially useful are the tiny dots, these make perfect tiny circles to use as animal eyes on other punch art projects and regular punches that create dots that small are hard if not impossible to find. Because of their minute size they are perfect for all the smaller projects. So, when punching borders don’t forget to save all those punchies for future decorating. You can punch them directly on the project or punch from a wide strip of paper (I used 5/8 inch wide quilling strips here in a couple of the illustrations) and then use that strip as an element on your project.
