With use of the high quality valve and diaphragm control system, the type RS was created to be the most reliable blow off valve system available. New designs allow for high capacity and performance that rival high performance blow off valves, while being more compact and lighter weight. Features Ultimate Discharge Sound The unique 8 discharge ports in the CNC machined aluminium discharge funnel draw surrounding air to amplify the blow off sound. Large 40mm Valve The CNC machined aluminium valve is coated with hard anodizing, to withstand extreme friction, maintain an air-tight seal and increase durability. Quick Response To ensure a proper valve movement, a durable, air tight pressure resistant Bellofram diaphragm is used. The short valve stroke allows a compact top housing design. This smaller top housing volume also adds improved valve response. Dual Spring System A carefully selected spring rate, prevents premature discharge under high boost pressure and increase valve speed for quick response application. Adjustable Spring Rate The spring tension can be tuned by the adjustment screw, to suit most applications. Fitment List Complete with 40mm fitting plus dedicated Subaru flange for vehicles below. Also includes the blanking plug for the disused recirculation pipe once the valve is fitted. Fitment is tight between the intercooler and the manifold therefore professional fitment is mandatory. * Subaru Impreza 2001-2007 TURBO, WRX and STI – ALL – Bugeye, Blobeye, Hawkeye DOES NOT FIT 2001 WRX BUGEYE Please note – on the 2002-2007 WRX models (not STI) there can be a clearance issue as the intercooler sits lower to the manifold and requires modification to the supplied brackets – professional fitment only * Subaru Impreza 2008-2015 – STI ONLY – Hatch, Saloon DOES NOT FIT 2008-2014 TURBO AND WRX MODELS (we have flanges for these vehicles please email if required) DOES NOT FIT ANY EARLIER IMPREZA MODELS OR FORESTERS All items are to be fitted by a professional and no instructions are included for this reason. We do not accept claims of a professional status unless the item was shipped directly to a mechanical commercial premises. We will require an engineers/specialists report if you are claiming for an item not fitting the vehicle it is listed for (we test all our products, we know what they fit and what they don’t). Under no circumstances do we offer ‘Partial Refunds’. Items deemed as faulty (after you help us diagnose the problem through messages and with your installer) are returned for a replacement.
