The line includes the following: Fashions total of five, City Shopper total of four, Red Carpet total of eight, City Shine total of seven, and #TheBarbieLook total of nine. All with various names and outfits. Designed for the Adult collectors market, the Barbie Look collection delivers fashion play for the adult collector by providing realistic details for dolls, fashions, and accessories. A must-have for any Barbie Collector. b. The City Shopper run: The City Shopper run was produced in 2012 and 2013 and was numbered not named two each year 2012 included (#1) X8256 White with Blonde Hair – (#2) X8257 Black woman with Blonde highlighted hair. In 2013 (#3) X8258 White with shoulder-length Blonde hair- (#4) X9196 White with Brunette completed the four doll series. The X8257 Black woman with Blonde highlighted hair was Barbie’s best rendition of a Black American woman up to that time with a broader nose and thicker lips since 2012; Mattel has been getting more precise with Ethnic minorities for a whole host of reasons that go beyond this narrative.
