Antique Islamic metalwork cigarette case. Circa 1860-1890 (during the period of Western Colonialism in the Middle East). The case is fashioned from brass with a high copper content, giving it a very bright gold color. The inlay work is high content silver and copper. Condition is good with lots of wear from age and use. The ball clasp is missing so the case will not latch closed. There are dings, dents and scratches and a little bit of corrosion on the brass, especially inside the lid. Approx. 3″ x 3 1/2″ x 1/2″. THANKS FOR VIEWING OUR LISTING!
