Amprobe ACD-14 PLUS Dual Display Digital Clamp Multimeter with Temperature Designed for electrical and HVAC applications The ACD-14 PLUS Digital Clamp Meter is the perfect choice for both HVAC and electrical applications due to its versatile set of features. Electricians will find it’s thin, light and versatile with thinner jaws than standard clamp meters (only 0.4”/10mm thick). Its ability to measure temperature, capacitance, and microamps are important features for HVAC technicians. Features Quick and Accurate Measurements It has a transformer clamp that measures alternating current (AC) to 600 amp. The meter comes with detachable test leads that measure AC voltage and direct current (DC) voltage to 600 volts (V), AC and DC microcurrent to 2,000 microamp, capacitance to 3,000 microfarads, resistance to 40 megaohms, and frequency to 100 kHz. Temprature Measurements The meter comes with a K-type thermocouple probe for measuring temperature. The microamp feature has a 0.1 microamp resolution for measuring current changes in flame detector applications. An audible continuity sensor confirms that the circuit conducts electricity, and a diode test detects whether the circuit’s diodes work properly. True RMS Provides Accurate Measurements This true RMS (root mean square) sensing meter provides accurate readings when measuring linear loads, such as standard induction motors and incandescent lights, where the current or voltage has a sinusoidal waveform, or non-linear loads, such as electronic devices or motors, where the current or voltage has a non-sinusoidal waveform. It is an auto-ranging multimeter and automatically selects the correct operating range for the property being measured. Everything you need to get the job done!
