The operating frequency is 800-1500 KHz AM with VFO control and the output power is 5 watts. A varactor diode is used for tuning control of the VFO. The unit runs on 12 volts DC (with a DC 12 Volts power supply). This great transmitter is specially designed for electron tube enthusiasts and has a single ECL85 triode-pentode power tube. You can connect the AF input (modulator input) directly to a casette player, MP3 Player, Ipod, PC sound card, mobile phone or CD player’s output and you can listen your music on your AM radio whatever if the radio is old or new.
