Because of the gasket location on this tank, thread sealant must be used on all 6 bolts and a new sender gasket (included) should be installed with the sending unit. The sending unit hole is approximately 4 ½” wide. DO NOT use the factory gasket for the sender. Also the metal trim goes on the top of the sending unit.
