1960’s ~ 1 Dozen QualitySteel ScissorsOn Their Die Cut ~ Dime Store Display Card This set is absolutely beautiful! Not a toy, but real quality, steel scissors the smaller size preferred by people who sew and do cutting tasks. They are 4 inches long. The scissors are a quality steel pair of the 1960’s style. Not blunted points. Called, “Superior Scissors”. You get 12 pair, No rust, bright plated, Perfect Condition, work great. You also get an exceptional Die Cut store display card with impressive colors and design. It is scalloped around the edge like a giant clam shell. The die cut features that hold the scissors are arranged in a circle pointing the scissors toward the center of the display card where there is a price circle for the merchant to write in a price with a black crayon. The display card is 10-1/2″ wide and 9-3/4″ high. The scissors are held in place with small rubber bands that snap around the classic die cut holding tab design. We also supply a dozen new, proper size Rubber Bands, because these sets are so old, that the original rubber bands dried out and are broken or ready to. It takes five minutes to set the display up with the new rubber bands that we supply. It will look exactly like the one in the photo. No creases, no tears, no folds, There is a minor ripple on the lower corners, (seen clearly in photo) easily pressed or framed flat, otherwise Perfect Condition. These have never seen daylight and the colors are bright and vivid. Some minor age patina to the white area that would be expected in something more than a half century old. You get it all! The Scalloped die cut store display card with “Die Cut” mounting features (We supply 12 new rubber bands), and 1 dozen pair of the quality, all steel scissors. This is a very unique set for the sewing enthusiast or Dime Store Display collectors. You will be pleased with this set.
